CARONYX Group — Legal & Policies
Service Terms
Effective: August 1, 2026 | Updated: August 1, 2026
These Service Terms apply to delivery, pickup, small-move, labor-only, hauling, assembly-related, and other services provided by CARONYX. They supplement the written quote, confirmation, invoice, bill of lading, or other document for a particular job. Applicable law and required regulatory documents control.
1. Accurate Information
The customer must provide accurate addresses, item list, quantity, dimensions, approximate weight, condition, photos, stairs, elevators, long carries, parking, building rules, timing limits, assembly needs, special handling, hazards, and contact details. Material differences may require a revised scope, different staffing, postponement, or refusal.
2. Scope
CARONYX performs only services listed in the written confirmation. Additional items, stops, packing, assembly, stairs, waiting, disposal, appliance connection, wall mounting, or specialized handling require written approval and may affect price.
3. Pricing
Pricing may consider distance, travel, vehicle, labor, item count and size, duration, access, special handling, parking, tolls, disposal, and approved add-ons. CARONYX will communicate material changes before substantial additional work whenever reasonably possible.
4. Customer Responsibilities
- Be present or appoint an authorized adult representative.
- Obtain elevator reservations, permits, parking, gate, dock, building, and store access.
- Provide safe, reasonably clear pathways.
- Drain, defrost, empty, disconnect, and prepare appliances unless otherwise confirmed.
- Secure children, pets, cash, jewelry, medicine, records, and irreplaceable property.
- Back up electronics and remove sensitive data.
- Disclose fragility, high value, prior repairs, instability, and pre-existing damage.
- Confirm ownership or authority to move, discard, deliver, or release items.
5. Access, Parking, and Waiting
CARONYX is not required to park illegally, block traffic, violate building rules, or enter an unsafe area. Authorized waiting, parking, toll, permit, or access costs may apply. Delays caused by stores, sellers, locked premises, elevators, incomplete preparation, or unavailable contacts may affect timing and price.
6. Arrival Windows
Arrival and completion times are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing. Traffic, weather, prior-job delays, road closures, store delays, emergencies, and mechanical issues may affect timing. CARONYX will make reasonable efforts to communicate material delays.
7. Staffing and Safety
The confirmation identifies planned staffing. If customer assistance is required, the customer must provide capable adults. CARONYX may refuse or stop work that cannot be performed safely with available people, equipment, access, or conditions.
8. Packing and Preparation
Unless packing is included, the customer is responsible for securely packing and labeling contents. Open, leaking, overloaded, weak, or inadequately protected items may be refused or require approved repacking. Furniture should be emptied when necessary, and loose or fragile components must be disclosed.
9. Assembly and Installation
Assembly or disassembly is provided only when confirmed. CARONYX does not perform electrical, plumbing, gas, structural, licensed-contractor, or manufacturer-authorized installation unless expressly stated and legally permitted. Work may be declined when safe instructions, parts, tools, or conditions are unavailable.
10. Restricted Items
Unless specifically accepted and lawful, CARONYX will not handle illegal substances, explosives, ammunition, unsecured firearms, fuels, propane, corrosives, hazardous chemicals, cash, jewelry, negotiable instruments, live animals, biohazards, contaminated or pest-infested items, temperature-controlled perishables, or items beyond vehicle, doorway, personnel, or equipment limits. Specialty items such as pianos, safes, machinery, hot tubs, pool tables, or stone slabs require express acceptance.
11. Right to Refuse or Stop
CARONYX may refuse, pause, or stop work that is unsafe, illegal, abusive, threatening, unsanitary, structurally dangerous, materially different from the request, beyond available capacity, or likely to cause injury or damage.
12. Existing Conditions
The customer should identify fragile surfaces, weak floors, narrow turns, low ceilings, sprinkler heads, landscaping, and other risks. CARONYX is not responsible for deterioration, hidden defects, inherent vice, or ordinary wear, except where responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Third-Party Purchases
For store or marketplace pickups, the customer must verify the item, seller, release, dimensions, and condition. CARONYX is not the seller and does not guarantee authenticity, quality, completeness, merchantability, warranty, or fitness.
14. Inspection and Claims
The customer should reasonably inspect items and property at completion and promptly identify concerns. Failure to report immediately does not waive a right that cannot legally be waived. The Damage & Claims Policy and governing documents apply.
15. Payment, Cancellation, and Force Majeure
Payment and deposit terms appear in the confirmation or invoice. Cancellations and rescheduling follow the Cancellation Policy. CARONYX is not responsible for delay or nonperformance caused by events beyond reasonable control, but this does not excuse obligations imposed by law.
16. Order of Control
The order of control is: nonwaivable law; mandatory regulatory documents; the transaction-specific signed agreement; these Service Terms; and general website content.
